Embellished archival print
Galia Gluckman’s work is instantly recognisable by her signature use of paper. She prepares sheets of paper with acrylic paints - cutting these into grids or shredding them into ribbons - which are then intuitively arranged, meshed, and layered into evocative abstract topographies. For Gluckman, the repetitive process of mosaic collage becomes like a meditative act, creating a sense of order and stability from chaos. Levi is named after and inspired by the artist’s son.
