We met up with our Broadcast Production Queen, Ronwin Barnes, to chat about her advertising career, her joys and her theme song. Ronwin plays an integral role within our production department, works across our various agency portfolios and brings calm to any possible production-related storm.

Q: WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR BEST MEMORIES THROUGHOUT YOUR CAREER SO FAR?

A: One of the most memorable and challenging experiences of my 23-year career in the industry was traveling to Congo Brazzaville for a TV shoot and unexpectedly getting arrested for taking pictures. For those who know me know I love taking pics can capturing every moment. Despite the adversity, the experience was profoundly impactful, highlighting the unpredictable nature of our work and the importance of respecting local regulations and customs.

Q: WHAT IS BRINGING YOU JOY AT THE MOMENT?

A: Mygreatest joy comes from my children. Watching them grow and excel in everything they set their minds to fills my mommy heart with immense happiness and pride.

Q: WHAT’S YOUR THEME SONG?

A: Diana Ross's "I'm Coming Out" is my theme song because its positivity resonates deeply with me. The lyrics celebrate self-empowerment and the continuous journey of self-improvement, reminding me that we can always strive to be the best version of ourselves.

A: JLo or Beyonce’s backup dancer, but definitely a dancer.
